Region and language

Audible region Choose the marketplace you use. Each region has a separate library; follows do not transfer. Date display Controls date formatting throughout calendars, lists and details without changing the Audible marketplace. Time zone Sets the local day used for the calendar and the times shown for sync activity. English-only releases Exclude known non-English releases Unknown-language releases are retained because the source did not provide enough information to classify them. Audnexus enrichment Use Audnexus when it adds metadata Use Audnexus for individual-book metadata during sync; Audible remains the discovery source for authors and series.

Author identities

Minimum shared series for merge suggestions Suggest authors for merging when they share at least this many series. Existing merge and separation decisions are unaffected.

Application behavior

Default release view Used when no Calendar view is saved in this browser. Your History, Calendar/List and All followed/Favorites selections are remembered per account and take precedence. Watchlist chips Always show author, series and book chips When off, relationship chips appear only while hovering over or focusing a watchlist card. Header sync summary Show Last and Next beside Settings Displays the compact sync schedule in the header; detailed sync metrics remain in Settings. Header sync dates Show a date or day beside each sync time Applies when Header sync summary is enabled. When off, only times are shown. Header sync date format Relative days use Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow or a weekday within six days; other dates use short dates. Date order and times follow your date format and time zone settings. Close settings on Save Close this window after a successful save When off, the settings window stays open so you can continue reviewing or changing settings.

What the category view opens with

Default category This changes the initial selection only; category results remain manually refreshed and separately cached. Default date window Choose whether the default window changes with the calendar or always uses a fixed length. Fixed window (days) Used only when the default date window is set to a fixed number of days.

Background catalog checks

Followed catalog sync Periodically check followed catalogs Checks all followed authors, series and standalone books. The manual Sync button still forces a check. Followed catalog interval (hours) Used when followed catalog sync is enabled. The default is every 24 hours. Favorited catalog sync Periodically check favorited catalogs Only becomes active when followed catalog sync is off; it then checks the smaller favorited scope. Favorited catalog interval (hours) Used when favorited catalog sync is active. The default is every 24 hours.

Both sync buttons and automatic checks fetch fresh catalog listings, including releases from the past 30 days, while reusing cached book details. They check the active scope (followed or favorited catalogs). If background sync is off, the buttons check followed catalogs.

How often cached data may be refreshed

Detail view cache (minutes)How long the browser reuses author, series and book details before checking the server. Server freshness follows the catalog and product settings below. Totals across all accounts and libraries. Response size counts cached payloads and keys; image size sums stored cover files.

Automatic cleanup Enable automatic deletion When enabled, cleanup runs while idle, about every six hours. Only the limits below trigger deletion. Keep cached responses (days)Default: 28 days. Older responses are deleted when automatic cleanup is enabled. Image expiry by age Delete images older than their retention periodOff by default. When enabled, older images are deleted by automatic cleanup. The artwork size limit still applies during cleanup. Keep cached images (days)Default: 99999 days, measured since the image was saved. Clear cache deletes only the selected cache types. Check Automatic cleanup to delete cached Audible/Audnexus responses and detail snapshots. Check Image expiry by age to delete cover images for all accounts and libraries, including imported covers. Check both boxes to delete both. Books, follows, favorites, settings, accounts and backups are kept; deleted imported covers may require the original export to restore.

Review author matches

Reviews cover authors you follow and authors credited on books or series you follow. Cached credits may be incomplete, and shared books can belong to co-authors. Close this window to decide later.
